Children have a special place at the heart of Ichthus Forest Hill and participate actively in corporate times of worship and wider church events. Normally the children leave the main service after a time of worship and prayer with the adults and participate in their own Tree Church led by a committed team. Fostering spiritual growth, knowledge of the Bible and good relationships are the main aims of Tree Church using fun and engaging themes tailored to the abilities of the children.

All the children play games, worship and pray together, but also participate in age appropriate activities in separate groups. ‘The Seedlings’ (0-5 yrs) have exciting crèche facilities and enjoy Bible story reading times and crafts activities together. ‘The Evergreens’ (6-10yrs) explore the Bible and Christian principles through a wide variety of media and activities including games, lessons, music, craft and drama.
