Prayer is the heartbeat of our church life. We have seen God answer many prayers, both large and small, and prayer will be part of every gathering we have together. However, we are always asking Jesus to teach us how to pray more effectively, and have lots of opportunities to grow at prayer meetings for the Forest Hill congregation and for the wider Ichthus movement.

We meet monthly to pray as a congregation on the fourth Wednesday evening of each month at 7.45pm at the Ichthus Prayer House. For more details, ask one of the Ichthus Forest Hill leaders on a Sunday. We also have a prayer time at 10.15am at the Bonhoeffer Church where we meet, before our normal Sunday meeting to ask for an outpouring of God’s Spirit as the whole church gathers.

The Ichthus Movement hosts a Prayer Community that meets online on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10.00am – 1.00pm. There is also a monthly online Prayer Morning on the third Saturday of the month from 10.00am – 12.30pm or for as much as you can make of it.
