At our all-age 3t meeting Debbie Laycock looks at 1 Samuel 31 which records the death of Saul and his sons and helps us consider how we, with the Lord’s help, face the things that come to an end.

Ichthus meetings

The Ichthus Forest Hill congregation holds its Sunday meetings at the Bonhoeffer Church in Dacres Road. Midweek and other weekend gatherings meet locally at the Ichthus Prayer House and Ichthus House, and in members’ homes.

Ichthus Christian Fellowship continues to hold meetings at the Bonhoeffer Church and the Ichthus Prayer House, along with other venues.

Information about these meetings will be given below, at our meetings, on our printed congregation monthly calendar and on the ICF website.

W/c Monday, 14th July

Burning Hearts Groups
We continue our Burning Hearts groups this week, where everyone in the congregation is meeting in small groups to engage in Discovery Bible Studies. These groups will gather each week, where possible, at a time that suits its members, and will continue until Revive in August. Please contact Debbie if you have questions about the groups.

Wednesday, 16th July

Prayer Walk
Meet at the Prayer House car park at 9.30am to pray around the streets of Forest Hill

Friday, 18th July

Dandelions
Our parent and toddler group has now closed for the summer holidays

Popcorn After-School Club
The Popcorn Club for 5-11 year olds will meet in the back hall of the Bonhoeffer Church at 4.30-6.00pm for fun, craft, games, songs and learning about Jesus

Saturday, 19th July

Men’s Breakfast
The men of the congregation are invited to gather for breakfast at 8.30am at Ichthus House for a time of fellowship, prayer and food

Sunday, 20th July

Sunday morning meeting
We will gather in the Bonhoeffer Church from 10.45am-12.30pm for a time of worship, fellowship and Bible teaching. Martin Hussain will lead our time together, Henry George will give the bible talk and Ian Marden will lead worship. Tea and coffee will be served afterwards.

Ichthus Celebration
Our Celebration, a time of extended worship, bible teaching and prayer ministry, will meet at the Bonhoeffer Church at 5.30pm (5.00pm for tea and coffee). Tonight’s gathering is on the theme of “Get Into It’ with Sarah Larkin sharing from God’s word.

There aren’t any concurrent livestream meetings. Previous bible talks, Ichthus Bible Strong and some worship sessions can be found on the Ichthus Christian Fellowship website or subscribe to our YouTube channel (youtube.com/user/ichthuscf), and join us to think about the message of Jesus and how this connects to life today.
