Debbie Laycock continues our bible teaching series on the Book of Hebrews and looks at chapter 7:11-28, considering Jesus Christ and his eternal priesthood, and how the writer to the Hebrews encourages us to draw near to Jesus.

Ichthus meetings

The Ichthus Forest Hill congregation holds its meetings at the Bonhoeffer Church in Dacres Road. As the Covid-19 virus is still around, please use careful behaviour to help limit any infections and to show loving concern for others, especially those who are vulnerable in their health.

Ichthus Christian Fellowship continues to hold meetings at the Bonhoeffer Church and the Ichthus Prayer House and information about these will be given by the congregation’s Prayer Planning and house group leaders.

THE WEEK AT ICHTHUS FOREST HILL

Monday-Wednesday 10-12th February

House Group Meetings
We will be gathering in our evening house groups during the week. Please contact your house group leaders for further details.

Thursday, 13th February

Rooted Choc Stop
The Rooted students’ street hot chocolate outreach on the street at 3.00pm to school children

Friday 14th February

Dandelions
Our parent/carer and toddler group will be meeting at 10.15am at Sydenham Library.

Friday Daytime House Group
The daytime house group will meet at Ichthus House from 12.30pm.

Popcorn After School Club
The Popcorn Club (for 5-11 yr olds) will be meeting in the back hall of the Bonhoeffer Church from 4.30-6.00pm for fun, games, craft activities and learning about Jesus.

Ichthus Youth Weekend Away
‘Higher, Wider, Deeper’ – The youth from all congregations will spend the weekend at an outdoor centre to worship, pray, play games and do activities, and learn more about Jesus from His word.

Saturday 15th February

Church on the Street
We will meet at the Ichthus House at 10.00am to pray before going out into Forest Hill to worship, pray and share Jesus’ good news

Sunday 16th February

Sunday morning meeting
We will gather at the Bonhoeffer Church at 10.45am-12.30pm for a time of worship, fellowship, prayer and a bible talk. There will be Seedlings (creche) and Tree Church (5-11yr olds) for our children. Tea and coffee will be served afterwards.

Ichthus Celebration
‘Come, Let Us Worship And Bow Down’ – We will meet at the Bonhoeffer Church at 5.30pm (5.00pm for teen and coffee) for worship, bible teaching and prayer ministry. Children’s work at Ichthus House as usual.

There aren’t any concurrent Sunday morning livestream meetings.
